Fulvio Palombo is an Italian painter whose work shows a strong affiliation with American Abstract Expressionism.
He was born in Velletri (Rome), Italy, in 1952.
His training in painting began under the guidance of
Tony Lucchesi, an American artist whose art is rooted in the New York School of action painting.
Fulvio Palombo was soon attracted by the revolutionary dimension and emotional impact which characterize the New York School.
From 1983 he conducts, in collaboration with Tony Lucchesi, seminars and workshops in art history and the education of creativity for adults.
His Italian education and cultural background add a special point of view to the proposals of the seminars.
Palombo's strong interest and involvement in theater provide a rich component to the work of the seminars. His work has a broad international appeal.
Fulvio Palombo has been exhibiting mainly in Italy and Switzerland.
